Brunching in Roots, Fruits and Flowers cafe

Are you looking for a new place to go for brunch? There is a cosy cafe in the West End of Glasgow - Roots, Fruits, and Flowers - that serves delicious brunch options. Situated on Great Western Road, on the corner into Otaga Street.

They have a varied breakfast and brunch menu, from basic items, such as jam and toast and porridge, to typical brunch options such as french toast, and many options on top of the toasted sourdough. There are options to have your eggs either fried, poached, or scrambled. The menu is mostly made up of vegetarian options, with vegan options too. The drinks options is quite small, with different coffee and tea options, and fresh juices. No brunch is truly complete without a perfectly blended cup of coffee to compliment your meal.

I went for the "Scandi Breakfast", which has smoked salmon, home-pickled beets with poached eggs on toasted sourdough. An option that I usually do not go for when having brunch, but it was a great decision as it was delicious, the eggs were done perfectly.

If you have some time after brunch, then I recommend that you check out their florist which is joined with the cafe. With plenty a variety of different bouquets, there is one for you to take and decorate your home with.

With the cozy and relaxed atmosphere, and the menu being at a good price with fresh produce, I would definitely recommend having Roots Fruits and Flowers cafe in your list to go for brunch!

What's your favourite breakfast?
