iCafe: A place for students

Based in Merchant City, just outside Glasgow central, iCafe is a hot-spot for students. Whether it is to study or to meet up with friends in between classes. It is very convenient as it is just under 5 minute walk away from University of Strathclyde. There is an upstairs section in the cafe to sit.

I went into iCafe the other day to do some studying, while I was there I noticed the cafe offers a wide range of food and drink menu items at a student budget price. Serving food all day, there are breakfast options such as pancakes and breakfast burritos, and lunch options such as 'soup of the day', wraps, toasties, and pizzas! iCafe also offers a wide drinks menu, from the classic coffee options to their signature drinks such as 'biscoff latte' and 'coconut hot chocolate'. On top of that there are fruit smoothies and also vegan options too!

Since I went in the morning I got a 'Loaded Bap' which has scrambled eggs, potato scone, turkey rashers, caramelized onions, cheese and sriracha mayonnaise along with a vanilla latte, and it did not disappoint! The service was very pleasant and I received my order very quickly, which was good considering how busy it was.
The atmosphere in the cafe is very relaxed with many other students, whether alone or in a group. It has a modern, earthy interior with warm and natural lighting.  Which helps with focus while studying. There is an outdoor seating area which is perfect for the odd day when the weather is good in Glasgow!

Overall, I would definitely recommend this cafe to other students!
